A SERVANT WITH A MISSION

After serving as an Evangelical worship leader in the church for over 10 years, Mackenzie Morgan began to see through the smoke and mirrors of seeker-driven worship services. This led her to study both Scripture and church history concerning the worship service. Mackenzie soon discovered that the worship services she had helped lead for all those years were not only unhistorical to the Christian faith, but also unbiblical.

These convictions led her to leave the megachurch where she had led worship for many years and share her convictions in a Facebook post on her personal profile. Within minutes, the post gained hundreds—and eventually thousands—of views, shares, comments, and likes. Many people began messaging Mackenzie to express their gratitude for her bold convictions, while others shared that they were taking similar steps with their own church leadership.

As the post continued to spread, people began asking Mackenzie questions about worship. This ultimately led her to start her podcast, Godly Whistleblower, to sound the alarm against false worship and help people understand more about how God is to be worshiped.
